Experienced and Ambitious Ember Developer
We are looking for a talented and experienced front-end developer with deep knowledge of Ember. We are a small close-knit team of passionate developers changing how our exclusive clients can enjoy a wager on their favourite sporting or political events.
You will be working within a small team of developers, UX designers and graphics designers to dream up and deliver a best of breed gaming app powered by our proprietary platform developed in-house.
You will also be working closely with the senior developers to set the long term front-end strategy for new projects and migration plan for existing systems as well as mentoring our junior front-end developers.
Our backend tech stack is mainly written in Ruby & Elixir. The app is Ember & Ember Data 2.3, QUnit for testing and Adobe Cordova to wrap it all up.
We work using a modified Scrum methodology and heavily utilise GitHub pull requests, code reviews, Design Sprints, Continuous Integration with Jenkins and one click deploys for backend. For the app we have a CircleCI setup and Heroku preview-apps to allow for a quick testing lifecycle.
We believe great developers deserve the right environment and resources to help them grow. We have a variety of perks aimed at making sure you can be productive and that continuous improvement isn’t just happening with the software we produce
- 10% Investment time to spend on learning new technologies or personal projects
- Generous budget for courses, books and other learning materials/software

- Ability to choose to work remotely up to 80% of your time
- Ticket and travel to at least one conference per year
- Excellent company bonus scheme
- 24 Days starting holiday

However we think the best part is the opportunity to work with other talented developers in an engineering focused culture.
Ideally you will have experience working with Ruby on Rails, Elixir and Phoenix or another modern JSON api. You should be keeping up to date with the fast moving world of front-end development and ideally looking into developments in the functional programming movement.
So if you enjoy what you do, you’re good at it and want to join a team that can help you get even better then get in touch!
